Seeing that it was Southport Airshow on 26th-267th September, myself and the wife decided to head down to Blackpool Airport to watch them takeoff and land. They use Blackpool Airport as a home base with most displays around the North West.
Got a few good shots on takeoff but on their return my autofocus decided to go south and went completely out of focus for what I believe would of been an awesome shot… and not just saying...

Taken during the summer months (seems long gone now that the leaves are falling). Decided after seeing the sky being a bright orange from my living room window, I would take a drive down to the Promenade and see what I could get with one of my first sunset shots. Taken on Chain Lane near Staining, on what I think is called Mythop Flood. Looks like a natural marsh area that has been created due to the dip of the land and heavy rain over a few years. Seems to have become a reasonable site to see a few birds you would not expect to see around the area, including Peregrines, which am sorry to say I dont have any photos of… YET!!! But on my last visit, of 3.5 hours of waiting for something to get reasonably close for a shot I had 3 Buzzards circling overheard and as you can see I got the shot I was...
